Strengthened Leadership: Hans Buysse Appointmed as chair of EFFAS.
Following our Extraordinary General Meeting on 19 January 2026, Hans Buysse has been confirmed as Chair of the Executive Management Committee, leading EFFAS’ strategic direction and priorities for the years ahead.
We also welcome Paul Severin, who joins the EMC as Austria’s representative, assuming responsibility for International Relations, Communication, Marketing and EFFAS Promotion.
Together with the full EMC, this renewed leadership will focus on:
• Reinforcing training and certification in ESG, climate risk and professional standards
• Strengthening EFFAS’ role as a European think tank and trusted voice for policymakers
• Expanding international partnerships across Europe, Asia and Latin America
We look forward to working together and pushing EFFAS forward in this regulatory and market environment.
