Dear EFFAS Colleagues,
The publication of the EFFAS Annual Report is an important moment for us as we look back at the work carried out across the Federation and recognise the contribution of our member societies, commissions, faculty, partners and wider professional community.
In this edition you will find a strong networking opportunity for holders, as well as educational content supporting financial professionals in sustainable finance — both online and in Lisbon.
We are also pleased to welcome EFFAS Hungary as a new ordinary, voting member of the Federation.
**In this edition:**
– EFFAS Annual Report 2025 and EFFAS Hungary’s new ordinary membership
– Upcoming EFFAS events, including the CESGA Masterclass, Holders Networking Event and CESG Conference
– New ECRA insights and sustainable finance education updates
We invite you to explore the highlights below.
Kind regards,
Hans Buysse
EFFAS Chair
EFFAS has published its 2025 Annual Report, offering an overview of the Federation’s key activities, achievements, professional certifications, expert commissions, collaborations, and financial statements from the past year.
Despite many years of discussion, as well as academic and professional research and policy statements, the disclosure and valuation of intangibles remain an open issue. Read along and join the webinar on 24 June.
EFFAS welcomes Hungary as an Ordinary Member of the Federation, following the approval of its membership at the EFFAS Annual General Meeting held on 10 June 2026.
With this step, EFFAS Hungary becomes a voting member of EFFAS.
EFFAS will host a CESGA Masterclass with Roland Kölsch, Managing Director of F.I.R.S.T., exploring how investment professionals can assess sustainability funds with more clarity and professional judgement.
The full speaker line-up is now published on our website.
Among the highlights, a panel at 15:50 will explore how European SMEs are approaching sustainability challenges and identifying new opportunities in a changing market environment.
The European Central Bank (ECB) recently published an updated collection of good practices for climate- and nature-related risk management.
The publication follows several years of supervisory engagement with banks and provides a useful indication of where attention is being directed.
Thank you for your continued engagement with EFFAS. We look forward to seeing many of you at our upcoming events.
